I already knew I was a foster failure from the moment he clung to my side like a security blanket… I just couldn’t say that until I saw how he did with my son. Seriously my Xmas and bday present wrapped up in one to know I don’t have to see him go to anyone else. Especially after his attachment of needing to be next to me ALL the time, just continuing to grow stronger; I would of been SOOOOO heart broken to have to give him up. I can honestly say I’ve never experienced a connection like this with any of my dogs. I did have one similar with a Rottweiler I had, & he only lived to be two. But I’ve never seen a dog show appreciation and gratefulness towards me like he does. Seriously meled my heart over and over again.
